Trip Program Daily

Every day up to 50 campers are out of camp on optional day and overnight trips. Every camper is given multiple opportunities daily to go on camping trips and day excursions. But, the choice is the camper’s. Cabin overnights, river and lake fishing excursions, whitewater canoe and kayak trips, island day trips, hiking and biking in Acadia National Park, climbing Mt. Katahdin, white water rafting expeditions once a week, ocean yacht cruising excursions abroad our privately owned yacht, 3 day Boston sight seeing trip, and horse camping in Acadia National Park are among the trips that we offer.

White Water Rafting Rafting excursions occur once a week or more. Being swept down the rapids of the Kennebec River’s “Magic Falls” of the west branch of the Penobscot River’s “The Gorge” are exhilarating experiences and highlights for many campers 10.5 or older.

Ocean Yacht Cruise Every campers should experience a 2 or 3 day sailing cruise aboard our 38’ sailing yacht “Robin’s Way,” equipped with radar and GS navigation electronics. We cruise the unspoiled islands of Maine safely, cooking lobsters and steaks when island camping once of the nights.

Boston Excursion The 3 day sightseeing excursion to Boston includes a visit to historic Fenway Park, a “Boston Duck Tour” ride aboard an amphibious vehicle riding the streets of Boston and the waters of Boston Harbor, a visit to the Museum of Science, and a visit to Harvard Square.

Whale Watching Search the waters offshore Acadia National Park from Bar Harbor in search of Humpback and Pilot whales.
