Look who’s coming Summer 2019!

STAFF NEWSFLASH: We are excited about the talented counselors and special programs that will be offered this summer. We have literally “searched the world over” to assemble our high-caliber, experienced staff.

Wakeboarding / Waterskiing / Wakesurfing


The program will be led by slalom champion Alejandro Arango (Colombia) and fifth-year counselor Tom Gerrett (UK) as well as a team of talented counselors who have international competitive, trick ski, and wakeboard experience. Six-time Brazilian
wakesurf champion Anne Prochaska returns for the month of July and World Wakeboard Champion Dean Lavelle returns for Week 7 (August 4-11).

Gymnastics

Robin Hood gymnastics coach Christina Gutierrez
Joining us for the first time is gymnastics coach Christina Gutierrez (Mexico), who has competed for her national team.

Survival Skills

Robin Hood Camp survival skills counselor Tomas Urrutia
Popular counselor Tomas Urrutia (Colombia) returns to teach shelter building, fire-starting, and much more.

Parkour

Charlie Morales comes back to Robin Hood Camp in 2019 to lead parkour and teach electric guitar!Parkour coach Charlie Morales (Mexico) returns to help more campers learn how to negotiate obstacles by running, jumping and climbing. Charlie is also an avid guitar player and is excited as well to teach budding Robin Hood Camp musicians.

Muay Thai Kick Boxing

Avid Robin Hood kickboxers with Muay Thai counselor Nghia TranOur most popular activity in camp will continue under the inspired leadership of the popular champion Nghia Tran (Australia) for the 19th year in a row!

Chess

Chess coach Bernard Chan (Malaysia), 1st Place National Chess Junior Chess Champion, will share his skills with Robin Hood campers this summer.

Sailing

Robin Hood Camp sailing director Anthony Minder
Sailing champion Anthony Minder (Monaco) will lead the lake sailing program, which is enhanced by two new RS Quest 15 foot sailboats — terrific training boats. Anthony’s brother, international racer Alex Minder (Monaco), will run the ocean sailing program.
