Scuba diving at Robin Hood Camp

Two PADI Scuba Certification classes are offered at Robin Hood Camp this summer. Session 1 will be held during Week 3 (Monday, July 8 to Friday, July 12) while Session 2 runs during Week 5 (Monday, July 22 to Friday, July 26).

In making your decision about PADI Scuba Certification class, please consider the following:

  • The minimum age is 12 years old.
  • Between three to five entire days are required to complete the class and participants do not sign up for any other activities.
  • Mandatory online course (available in the camper’s native language) must be completed prior to arriving at camp.
  • The cost is $575 (payable to Robin Hood Camp) plus $175 for the online course. Textbooks, materials, rental of scuba equipment and wetsuit are included in fees.

Please contact Robin Hood Camp at (831) 659-9143 to reserve a spot for your camper as soon as possible as classes fill up fast. A $100 non-refundable deposit, charged to the credit card on file in your Camp-in-Touch account, is required to reserve a space. The remaining $475 will be charged to your end-of-camp expenses.

Upon successful completion of the class, your camper will receive a PADI certification which is a lifetime certification recognized throughout the world. The program has been growing in popularity with the introduction of the online work prior to the class instruction at camp. It quickens the pace of the class and minimizes the study time during camp.
